Choirmaster #OneProfessionOneVoice Virtual & LIVE Choir, Award-winning Executive Assistant

Helen Rees is an award-winning Executive Assistant, and works as the PA to the Chief Executive at Marwell Wildlife in Hampshire, a conservation charity and zoological park.

Helen is the Founder of South Hampshire PA Network and a Fellow (and former Vice-Chair of the Regional Board) of the Executive & Personal Assistants Association (EPAA). A degree-educated musician and former music charity Trustee, Helen began her profession working in the arts funding sector, and spent some time as Project Manager of one of the first lottery-funded Youth Music Action Zones in the UK, providing music-making opportunities to disadvantaged young people.

Helen has led the #OneProfessionOneVoice Choir for Executive Secretary Magazine and ExecSecLIVE since 2016, and is an active participant in many musical endeavours including leading online ‘virtual’ singing for wellbeing sessions.

  • There have often been days when I have felt too emotional to sing, but when it reached 6pm on a Thursday – I was there most times and got stuck in! It lifted those sad times of not being able to meet my family, church family, boyfriend stuck out in South Africa, the work team even!
